MEASURE YOUR FEET

Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe with a pen, keeping the pen slightly angled (see image). Measure the distance from the edge of the paper at the wall to the mark. This is your foot length. Compare it to the centimetres column in the size chart to find your size. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement. We recommend measuring in the afternoon, as feet expand slightly throughout the day. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.

The Henford from John Lobb carries the precision and restraint that defines Northampton's finest shoemaking. Each pair is handmade across 190 individual steps, a process that prioritises craft over speed and produces shoes with a balance of proportion and durability that justifies the investment.

The rough-out leather uses the reverse side of the hide, leaving the fibrous surface exposed. The result is a naturally water-resistant texture that develops character with wear and handles rough conditions better than smooth leather. The single leather sole keeps the profile slim and elegant, and the Goodyear welted construction means it can be resoled when the time comes. Handmade in Northampton, England.
