MEASURE YOUR FEET

Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe with a pen, keeping the pen slightly angled (see image). Measure the distance from the edge of the paper at the wall to the mark. This is your foot length. Compare it to the centimetres column in the size chart to find your size. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement. We recommend measuring in the afternoon, as feet expand slightly throughout the day. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.

UK sizes, standard E fitting

John Lobb shoes are built on elegant lasts with a close fit. Many customers find they take half a size smaller than in other English makers, but this varies by last.

The Philip II is John Lobb's most refined Oxford, a semi-brogue with punching accents across the toe cap and facings that add visual interest without breaking the formality of a closed-laced shoe. The whole-cut quarters create a seamless silhouette along the sides, a construction detail that requires excellent pattern cutting.

The single leather sole keeps the profile slim and elegant, and the Goodyear welted construction means it can be resoled when the time comes. Handmade in Northampton, England.

Care: Apply a matching or neutral leather cream regularly to maintain suppleness and colour depth. Buff with a soft cloth. Insert shoe trees after every wear to absorb moisture and hold the shape. Avoid prolonged exposure to water.
