Description
The Michael is the shoe Paraboot is most recognised for. Designed in 1945 by the second generation of the Richard-Pontvert family, it was conceived under post-war rationing: two eyelets, thick leather, strong stitching, and a rubber sole made from natural latex in Paraboot's own factory. The simplicity of the original design is precisely what has made it last.
The Norwegian welt construction stitches the upper directly to the midsole and outsole, creating a fully waterproof seal. The natural rubber sole is made in-house at Paraboot's own factory. Handmade in Izeaux, France.
