Carlos Santos shoes are Goodyear welted and fit much like other quality English style makers. Most customers take their usual UK dress shoe size, about one size smaller than their trainer size.
Expect a firm fit at first that softens and moulds to your foot over the first weeks of wear.
Most customers take their usual UK dress shoe size, which is usually half to one size smaller than their trainer size. Lasts such as the 348 have a longer toe that can look roomy, but the fit through the heel and ball is true to size.
If you are between sizes, try both in the shop. Welted shoes feel firm at first and soften with wear, so choose the size that holds your heel.
Franceschetti shoes are made in Italy and generally fit true to EU size.

John Lobb shoes are built on elegant lasts with a close fit. Many customers find they take half a size smaller than in other English makers, but this varies by last.

Magnanni shoes are Bologna constructed, so they are soft and flexible from the first wear with almost no break in. Most customers take their usual EU size.
Because the construction is so soft, choose the size that feels comfortable in the shop rather than sizing down.
Paolo Scafora shoes are handmade in Naples on close fitting lasts.
We recommend trying them in the shop or contacting us before ordering so we can advise on size.
Paraboot runs generous. Most customers take half a size smaller than their usual size. The Avignon is a little narrower at the toe than the Michael.
Paraboot are made to be worn with thicker socks in winter. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller one.
Santoni lasts are slim and refined in the Italian style. Most customers take their usual UK dress shoe size. Santoni trainers often feel slightly roomier than the dress shoes.
If you have a wide foot, consider half a size up in the dress shoes, or ask us which models suit you.
TLB Mallorca shoes are Goodyear welted and fit in line with other English style makers. Most customers take their usual UK dress shoe size, about one size smaller than their trainer size.
