MEASURE YOUR FEET

Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe with a pen, keeping the pen slightly angled (see image). Measure the distance from the edge of the paper at the wall to the mark. This is your foot length. Compare it to the centimetres column in the size chart to find your size. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement. We recommend measuring in the afternoon, as feet expand slightly throughout the day. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.

UK sizes

Paraboot runs generous. Most customers take half a size smaller than their usual size. The Avignon is a little narrower at the toe than the Michael.

Paraboot are made to be worn with thicker socks in winter. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller one.

Full size guide

The Malo from Paraboot carries the Norwegian welt construction and natural rubber soles that have defined the French house since 1908. Every pair is handmade in their factory in Izeaux using techniques developed over a century, and the rubber soles are produced in-house from natural latex, making Paraboot one of the few shoemakers that controls every stage of production.

The suede upper has a soft, tactile surface that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving the shoe a matte warmth that pairs particularly well with lighter-weight fabrics and casual tailoring. The Norwegian welt construction stitches the upper directly to the midsole and outsole, creating a fully waterproof seal. The natural rubber sole is made in-house at Paraboot's own factory. Handmade in Izeaux, France.

Care: Brush with a suede brush after each wear to restore the nap. Use a suede protector spray before first wear and periodically after. Avoid water where possible. For stains, use a specialist suede eraser. Insert shoe trees after each wear.
